The Southern Oklahoma Development Association Area Agency on Aging (SODA AAA) is accepting proposals for SFY 2020 to provide services, through a contractual agreement, to persons aged 60 and over in the planning and service area (PSA) for the following counties: Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray, and Pontotoc.

The following services will be considered for funding: Nutrition Services to include: Congregate Meals, Home Delivered Meals, Nutrition Counseling and Nutrition Education; Health Promotion Services; Outreach Services to include: Outreach, Chore and Homemaker: Legal Services to include: Legal Assistance and Education/Training; Family Caregiver Support Program Services to include: Assistance with Access to Services, Counseling & Referrals, and Respite Care; Transportation Services.

In order to be considered for funding, SFY 2020 proposals must contain all service components and be able to provide services for a defined geographic area. SODA AAA will provide reasonable technical assistance to applicants who request the assistance, in writing, no later than seven calendar days prior to the closing of the application period. Any incomplete proposal will be disqualified from evaluation and funding.

SFY 2020 proposal is available at the SODA AAA office, 2704 N 1st Street, Durant, OK, beginning March 11, 2019 thru April 4, 2019 at 8:00am. SODA AAA hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

In order to be considered for funding, applicants are required to attend a Proposers’ Conference, Thursday, April 4, 2019, 2:00 p.m. in the SODA Office Conference Room.
