SODA is a Council of Government Serving Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray and Pontotoc Counties.
SODA is firmly committed to proving our services to the communitites within our ten counties. The creation of jobs, assistance for the elderly, fire defense,community revitalization, local economic development programs, affordable housing and funding for rural community special needs are continually being pursued to ensure that citizens and their local governments gain what's available to them through federal and state funding sources.

SODA's mission is to enhance the quality of life and competitive advantages of the southern Oklahoma region by providing a forum for consensus building,policy-making, and implementing regional policies, plans and programs to improve the local communities.
